Desert Camp Chraika

Traditional clay-wooden huts in a camp located in a beautiful nature area of small dunes with tamarisk trees, a 20-minute walk from M'hamid village. Built from natural materials, with electricity coming from solar power, huts will keep you warm at night and cool during the day. Sleep in a haima in the Sahara-Chegaga Berber Camp

The Camp is located 55 km west of M'hamid, right under the foot of Chigaga - one of the two highest Moroccan dunes. The camp consists of 6 haimas-bed rooms, a bigger haima that we use like living room and as a dining room, an area with a thatched roof, with comfortable mattresses to enjoy the outdoors next to which we light a bonfire at night, where we meet with our guests to chat, have a tea or enjoy Berber music. We have also a kitchen and a common bathroom with toilets and showers.

Built in accordance with local methods guest house (kasbah) offers authenticity and comfort during hot summers and cold winters.
