Understand account login notifications
Airbnb uses login notifications to help keep your account and personal information safe.
When you’ll receive an account login notification email
You probably won’t receive login notifications very often. However, when your account is accessed from a new or unfamiliar browser or device, you’ll receive a login notification email telling you:
- What browser or device was used
- What time it was
- Where it was accessed from
What to do if you’re notified of an account login
You can review the information and make sure that it matches up with a recent login. If it was you, no problem! There’s no need to take any further action. If it wasn’t, check your account for unauthorized activity, and reset your password.
Turn on or off SMS or push notifications for account logins
While email notifications can’t be turned off for account logins, you can turn on or off SMS or push notifications.
