Payouts

First, set up your preferred payout method on your Airbnb profile. The day after you host an experience, Airbnb will release your payout for it.

We charge a service fee to help cover the costs of the products, services, and support we provide.

An adjustment is an amount of money a host owes as a result of a cancellation, reservation change, or violation of our Guest Refund Policy.

After you add a payout method, it takes some time for it to be verified. While it's being verified, its status shows as Pending. Verification time depends on the payout method.

You can add or change payout methods in your account settings.

Once a payout method that you've added is ready, you can split your payouts by property, percentage, or both using routing rules.

When you add more than one payout method, you can specify which one you want to be your default.

You can check if the status next to your payout method is Default, Pending, Error, or there’s no status listed (meaning it’s verified but not your default payout method).

Airbnb-friendly buildings and directly listed units have different rules.

If PayPal appears as an option for your selected country, you'll be able to connect your existing PayPal account as a payout method.

If Payoneer shows as an option for your selected country, you'll be able to connect your existing Payoneer card as a payout method.

If Western Union shows as an option for your selected country, you'll be able to use it as a payout method.

Airbnb's bank will take care of processing international wires. Enter your local banking information in your payout preferences.

For security purposes, we don’t allow prepaid debit cards as a payout method. Instead, you can use a checking or savings account.

You can check the status of your earnings and review detailed information on your earnings from your earnings dashboard.

The currency you’re paid in is based on the country and method you selected when you first added your payout method. You can add other payout methods at any time.

You can cut down on transaction fees charged by your bank or financial service provider by setting a minimum payout amount.

If a payout method available in the past is no longer supported, it’s usually because of changes to local laws or regulations for your country or region.
